Annually, Keewatin Air transports over 4,000 patients and covers more than 2.3 million medevac miles. From remote northern health centers to southern hospitals, our highly trained teams ensure every detail of the transport process is handled with precision and care, exemplifying our dedication to excellence in every mission. Our advanced hangar facilities in Yellowknife, Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Churchill, Thompson (HEMS), Winnipeg, Iqaluit and Igloolik are fully equipped to support 24/7 Arctic air medical operations. Each aircraft interior is meticulously designed in-house to ensure peak functionality, safety, and the highest standard of medical care.
Our dedicated air medical crew, composed of Advanced Care Paramedics, Registered Respiratory Therapists, and Critical Care Nurses, is always on standby to deliver critical medical services across the Kivalliq, Qikiqtaaluk, and Kitikmeot Regions of Nunavut, as well as northern Manitoba. Adhering to stringent standard operating procedures and medical protocols, our crew operates independently while receiving unwavering support from dedicated physicians and 24/7 online medical control - ensuring seamless and expert intervention at all times.
