The fully sponsored apprenticeship program is designed to guide individuals from aviation enthusiasts to Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, offering comprehensive support throughout the journey. Participants receive hands-on technical training, expert mentoring from industry professionals, and financial assistance to help alleviate educational costs.

Through structured learning and real-world experience, apprentices acquire the skills and expertise necessary to maintain and service aircraft with precision and confidence. Keewatin Air's strong commitment to nurturing new talent makes this program an excellent pathway for those eager to pursue a rewarding career in aviation maintenance.

Keewatin Air's Life in Flight program
for Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers offers a rigorous and thoroughly vetted sponsorship opportunity, ensuring support throughout the entire apprenticeship. Approved applicants gain hands-on experience working and developing essential skills on the hangar floor before attending each level of school. The Transport Canada-recognized program includes 10 weeks of training per year over four years at the Red River College Polytechnic Stevenson campus in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Additionally, qualifying candidates receive on-campus housing while attending each level, creating an immersive and focused learning environment that prepares them for a successful career in aviation maintenance. Upon completing the program and receiving the Aircraft Journeyperson diploma, Keewatin Air continues to support candidates through the final step of writing the regulatory exam with Transport Canada, ensuring their success in obtaining an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license and a rewarding career with our team at Keewatin Air.
