Keewatin Air’s hangar facilities are located in Winnipeg (head office) and across northern bases, including Yellowknife, Churchill, Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Iqaluit, and Igloolik. Each base features heated hangars and fully equipped personal housing to support our dedicated maintenance professionals.

Keewatin Air's Life in Flight program for Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers offers a rigorous and thoroughly vetted sponsorship opportunity, ensuring support throughout the entire apprenticeship. Approved applicants gain hands-on experience working and developing essential skills on the hangar floor before attending each level of school. The Transport Canada-recognized program includes 10 weeks of training per year over four years at the Red River College Polytechnic Stevenson campus in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Additionally, qualifying candidates receive on-campus housing while attending each level, creating an immersive and focused learning environment that prepares them for a successful career in aviation maintenance. Upon completing the program and receiving the Aircraft Journeyperson diploma, Keewatin Air continues to support candidates through the final step of writing the regulatory exam with Transport Canada, ensuring their success in obtaining an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license and a rewarding career with our team at Keewatin Air.
